Purpose statement

The service provided 23,170 trips over 190,882 klm for clients to access their community and participate in social activities. COMMUNITY TRANSPORT PROGRAM (CTP) ACTIVITIES: A range of regular scheduled services including: fortnightly runs from Greta, Branxton and North Rothbury to Cessnock.Daily services to Maitland and Newcastle for health related appointments. Outlying areas service to Cessnock, Maitland and Newcastle as required.A range of flexible and responsive options including:Daily transport to daycareSocial OutingsShopping trips to access a range of retail, banking, postal, library and other servicesDoctors, Specialists and other health related appointments.Taxi Transport Subsidy SchemeTaxi voucher schemeTransport information linking and referring to other services.By providing these activities our service assists people to become socially inclusive and prevents unnecessary hospitalisation and domestic and social isolation.
