Purpose statement

The primary activities of the Foundation are directed towards achieving its mission to reduce suffering and death from heart, stroke and blood vessel disease in Australia through the support of research into the causes and cures of heart disease, the rehabilitation of sufferers from heart disease, professional and community education about heart disease, and the raising of funds to carry out this work. The Foundation undertook to promote and support improved cardiac outcomes for the population of the Northern Territory, through health promotion activities, clinical engagement and advococy.
