Purpose statement

The purpose of Marist Schools Australia Limited is to continue the core Marist mission of making Jesus Christ known and loved, in the way of Mary, through evangelisation and education. To this end the purpose of the Company is to ensure the continuance of the Education Ministry in Australia. Specifically, the purpose of the Company is to continue the governance, management, operation and conduct of the Colleges; and carry on and promote the charitable work of the Education Ministry which the Company has or may have responsibility for, from time to time. Marist Schools Australia Limited is the governing body for 12 schools in 6 jurisdictions across Australia. Combined with responsibility for formation of staff and community members and for Marist Youth Ministry, Marist Schools Australia Limited provides support to these Colleges and paid education services to the Marist member schools.
