We promote, foster and practice the art of circus based theatre; to produce and present all forms of theatrical entertainments; to initiate and encourage training and research in the arts as it relates to the combination of theatre and circus to promote public education in the Arts. Touring is a privilege extended to exceptional creations that can find resonance with audiences near and far. It can be a challenging activity in circus especially. Balancing bodies, logistics, finances, and opportunities requires both calculus and creativity. But the rewards are enormous. Performing in great venues and festivals, connecting with audience members across cultures and participating in the great, epochal conversation that is human culture. In 2023 Circa toured to 21 countries around the globe.
