Purpose statement
Our charity's activities are centered around: advancing education advancing the safety of the Australian public other similar purposes beneficial to the general public being the relief of distress Last reporting period our charity ensured that Currumbin SLSC Volunteer Members were able to provide Beach Safety Education and Rescue activities to approximately 55,000 beach goers in the Surf Life Saving Season including over 3100 Rescues, First Aid treatments and preventative actions to beach goers. The Club was also able to train members in new lifesaving awards and provide, coordinate and conduct annual skills maintenance and proficiency training to over 300 volunteer members and award holders in Certificate 2 in Public Safety (Aquatic Rescue) throughout the season. The Clubs main activities can be seen in our 2023/2024 Annual Report which can be viewed at www.currumbinslsc.com.au
