Purpose statement
People Who Care has been serving the community since 1980 in the Perth Metropolitan area from the Cities of Joondalup to Mandurah and the vast in-between. We offer services to: - older people and veterans living in their own home, supporting them to navigate the necessary support and offering transport, social outings and connection, home and garden maintenance, domestic assistance, personal support and visitor engagements through My Aged Care, Home Care Packages, Veterans Home Care, Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme and Care Finder. - those with a disability, offering social support, personal care, domestic assistance and home and garden maintenance through the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) - people 'starting over' following violence, crisis and abuse by providing emergency relief through the provision of furniture, white goods and everyday household items to set up their new home. Our team of trained and caring employees, and one of Perth's most significant volunteer base, are the hallmark of our 43 plus years of community service.
