Purpose statement

In the reporting period, headspace supported more than 96,000 young people to visit a headspace service, providing over 514,000 occasions of service. Over 14,000 young people accessed eheadspace, our online and phone counselling services. 2,790 young people accessed the headspace Work and Study service; and 170 young people were provided with a career mentoring service. 50,991 students were engaged in the headspace Mental Health in Education (Schools Suicide Prevention) Program and 7,951 schools were engaged for support and training. 34,168 educators from primary and secondary schools nationally were supported in the Be You program. The headspace Early Psychosis Program supported 3,279 young people, providing 274,407 occasions of service. The number of headspace services in metropolitan, regional and rural Australia increased from 154 to 163. Through the headspace University Support Program, 150 sessions were delivered to 1,493 university staff members. There were 6 million page views across the headspace website. Through the headspace Early Career Program (ECP), 79 graduates were employed; 261 student clinicians were placed; and Clinical Educators were employed in 84 percent of ECP headspace centres at the end of the reporting period.
