Founded by Billy Graham in 1950, the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association (BGEA) exists to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ worldwide, using every effective means available and to equip the church and others to do the same. BGEA ministry directs various evangelistic programs, including: live events led by either Franklin or Will Graham; the Billy Graham Rapid Response Team of crisis-trained volunteer chaplains; the Billy Graham PeaceWithGod.net, an evangelistic website. As a charitable organisation, BGEA does fundraising by means of social media, mailed and emailed newsletters and appeals.
