Purpose statement

AAAD has placed a number of puppies and dogs with follow up personal support and a 24/7 telephone support network. Our in home visits occur on request and also at various intervals as required for certification and training purposes. These visits and support structures are available to our clients throughout the life of the dog. A number of our dogs have graduated to the next level throughout the year which has permitted a more relaxed environment for our clients enabling them to pursue a more healthy and active lifestyle and increasing their interaction with their peers. Thereby increasing their overall mental and physical wellbeing. AAAD has assisted in programs within schools, nursing homes, and special education units through the attendance of one or more of our specially trained assistance/therapy dogs teams. We have also aimed to raise public awareness through social interaction via dog group
