Purpose statement
Our charity is a religious based charity, we hold local activities to forward the hope that we have through the Gospel from the Bible, in our community. We hold collections from our own members to run the organisation and also to help support those who have need in the local, national and international arenas. We give donations to organisations who seek support or whom we have predetermined we would like to support. 10 local charities benefit each year including Westpac Helicopter, SES, RFS, Riding for the Disabled, Calvary Mater Hospital, Ronald McDonald House, Angel Flight, West Mead Children's Hospital and HMRI - MS research. Nationally we have helped refugees settle in Australia. Internationally we have helped to support Youth Conference in New Zealand, Gaza Strip families to resettle and with health and well being in Kenya. We continue to provide tinned food via the Samaritans in the Newcastle area. We have monthly lectures on the first Sunday afternoon between 2pm and 3pm to spread the gospel hope.
