Purpose statement
Our purpose is to sustainably deliver an innovative and outstanding student accommodation experience. Deakin Res has a critical role to play in enhancing your student experience when you live on campus during your time studying at Deakin. DRS operates all student programs, events, and support structures through a comprehensive framework to codify and articulate the experience you get within on-campus accommodation. The framework provides a cohesive structure to student programming and support to ensure a consistent approach towards the quality of experience on residence, whilst taking into account the scale and size of each campus, and individual nuances of the student cohort at each location. Deakin is a nurturing environment with a collaborative culture of respect that allows all students to thrive academically and grow as people. Residents and staff share the responsibility of building and maintaining a healthy and happy community, and all experiences are guided by our RESPECT values.
