Purpose statement

Sunshine FM (SFM) is a community radio station licensed to provide content that specifically serves a mature-aged audience. No other radio station on the Sunshine Coast provides this service. Across 2024, SFM again reached more people than any other radio station [CBAA McNair Audience Surveys 1 & 2, 2024]. Each week, SFM reaches 76,000 people aged 40+ (35% audience reach) and98,000 people aged 15+ (31%) audience reach. This again confirms we are fulfilling community needs. Again in 2024, SFM increased a record number (600+) of local charities, NFPs and events.
