Purpose statement
The Australian Pain Society planned and conducted an in-person multidisciplinary Annual Scientific Meeting (ASM), including pre-conference workshops, from 21-24 April 2024 in Darwin, NT, focussing on pain management and research for medical, nursing, research and allied health professionals. We also supported pain research by providing PhD scholarships and grants and provided the platform and facilities for our Basic Pain Research Special Interest Group to conduct Pain Hour sessions. We update and share pain management resources via our website: https://www.apsoc.org.au
