Purpose statement
Periodic meetings with members and fundraising events have helped with FSCCSA's operational activities in addressing its aims and objectives: Provide a service that assists the settlement and welfare needs of individuals and families of Filipino communities, particularly new arrivals to Australia. Promote cultural diversity through linkages and cooperation between the member organisations of the Council and between the Council and other organisations, groups and communities in South Australia. Assist the social and cultural settlement of the families of member organisations, groups and communities through education and information on the diversity of the heritage and culture of the different groups in the Council. Promote harmony, peace and cooperation amongst all Filipino groups and communities in South Australia. Current funded programs (2019-2021) have contributed to community, individual and organisational development. The FSCCSA's current programs are: 1. Career Support Services (CSS), and 2. Intergenerational Community Cultural Reconnect (ICCR) as part of a project called 'INNOV8 Community Hub, Connect Create Contribute.
