Purpose statement
The Stockland CARE Foundation ("the Foundation") aims to enable social value creation through funding, skilled volunteering, and alignment with the company's environmental, social and governance ("ESG") goals. This involves supporting community-led solutions, strengthening social enterprises and building community organisational capacity for social value measurement. The Foundation also leverages employee skills through volunteering programs to achieve impact that contributes to long-term social change. In February 2024, the Foundation introduced its employee nominated Community Catalyst Grants program ("Grants Program") which is focused on Social Innovation initiatives. Stockland seed funds and builds the capacity of high potential local initiatives, de-risking them for funding from impact investors/government/foundations or to become supplier ready to service business or government and create a sustainable financial operating model to scale. The Stockland CARE Foundation board oversees the Foundation's strategy, and the Stockland Leadership Team oversee the operational side.
